Play is important in all aspects of child development. It is how children learn. Every time a child is playing, a connection is being made. Parent Volunteer Club (PVC) offers parents the opportunity to create age appropriate activities for their preschoolers. Parents come up with ideas and then meet once a month to plan the activities or projects for the following month. Parents can participate in developing hands-on activities that help foster learning and exploring through the children's play. Parents can do this by providing materials, setting-up, and guiding the children's exploration. PVC can further the learning experience creatively, physically, while building self-esteem with positive end results. In addition, PVC is a great way to interact with your child and meet other parents and children. Please come and check it out!
