Christ Lutheran Preschool operates on a non-discriminatory basis, according equal treatment and access to services without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational or admissions policies. Children with special needs are integrated into our program whenever possible. Please notify the director prior to enrollment.

Christ Lutheran Preschool admits children who are 2 years 6 months of age by September 2nd of the school year. This cut-off date ensures that children will complete our two-year program before continuing on to kindergarten. Our school is open year round. Please refer to the school calendar for additional information.

Our Preschool Half-Day Program is offered from 9:00 am until Noon. We offer two days per week (Tuesday and Thursday), three days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday), and four and five days per week (Monday through Friday). Class days may be flexible to your needs, but please speak with the school director regarding your specific circumstances. Children may choose to stay an additional hour for lunch for a nominal extra charge.

The Half-Day Program uses the Newhall School District holiday calendar as a guide.
A summer morning program is also offered.

The Full-Day Program is also available two, three or five days per week. Children may
come any time from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Please be mindful that children should not be here longer than 10 hours.

Parent-Tot Program is an introduction to the preschool experience for families with two-year-olds. Parents and children enjoy art, inside discovery, circle time, music and socialization together, with guidance from our wonderful instructor. A portion of each class meeting is dedicated to topic-based parent discusiion while the children enjoy supervised play on our yard.

The classes are conducted on a regular basis throughout the school year. A child must be no less than 1 year and 9 months of age to enroll in this class.

Class sizes are kept small, with a ratio of one teacher for every ten children (with the occasional one to eleven or twelve, as necessary) Our classrooms are staffed with qualified teachers that exceed state requirements.
